neuro-linguistic programming ( NLP)

Learning & Performance DictionaryLearning & Performance Dictionary
Developed in the 1970's by John Grinder, professor of linguistics, and John Bandler, a mathematician. They produced a set of 'hypothetical' rules for self-management and one-to-one communication. Many practitioners now apply these rules to education, training and development to allow learners to recognize their 'automatic' responses and behavior and apply strategies to control them.
