The establishment of a set of procedures by which students are required to perform a certain amount of work or to achieve certain objectives before engaging in activities that are preferred by the student (e.g., recreation, a break, or a more desirable training event). Also, described as reward stimulus procedures (i.e., systematically scheduling the consequences of behavior).
